The following informations are very important for all english-speaking Members of the MSI Support Board :
We\'ve updated the forum to Version 2.1.0.
The translation of the english languagepack is finished, and we will release it after a short bugfix.
If you find translation mistakes, please report them to us.
The release of the English Languagepack (2.1) is planned for end 07-10-2003.
There are some mayor changes in version 2.1. See details in the following list.
New Group System Every user can assigned to different usergroups. For each group you can set very detailed rights. Means global rights, different rights for every forum, and a dynamic ACP. You can allow/disallow the ACP functions for every group. And you can set which groups appears on the team page.
Some small changes[/li]- Polls can be added after creating a thread
- Post can only be edited a period of time
- Threadrating can be deactivated for every forum
- Placeholder (*) for filetypes
- New IP Banning System
- The speed of the Board is much faster
- Some Problems with some Browsers were fixed
- New Statistic : Who was there ? - in the upper left corner
- Memberlist was updatet with some new Informations
- Different Profilfield types : textarea, datefield, checkbox, dropdownmenue
- New treeview, mix between the actual tree and threadview.
