Dear Sir or Madam,
I tried to change the temperature source for my system fans in the BIOS on the left side in the Hardware Monitor, but the temperature source on the right side does not change.
I have big problems with the temeratur in my case after exchanging my air cooler against an Water Cooling System. My Gefore GTX980 TI produces a lot of heat but the case fans are controlled by the cpu and because of that at very low speed..
Can you please provide my with any help?
Thanks in advance and best greetings,

Dear Michael,
Thanks for contacting MSI technical support.
Regarding your concern,we are really sorry,do you mean that the system fan speed cannot be adjusted?Would you please unplug the power-cord and clear CMOS (How to clear CMOS. Please refer to the manual) for a try? Thanks!
Thanks for your cooperation in advance!
Best Regards,

Vielleicht ist aber auch mein Englisch doch nicht so gut wie gedacht

EDIT: Meine Antwort, ich hoffe, dass sies jetzt verstehen
Dear Sir or Madam,
thank you for your reply!
I can adjust the fan speed without any problem! The problem is, that I can't switch the temparature source for the fans from CPU to SYSTEM @ BIOS/Hardware Monitor.
After opening a thread because of that problem @ forum-de.msi.com, we found out that no Z170A motherboards (even the most expensive ones) are able to change the source of the temperature! But boards with other chipsets can do that without any problems..
I quite recently updated my BIOS to version 1.6 and did a full reset of the CMOS with the jumper methode afterwards.
Can you provide us Z170A users with a BIOS version which is capable of changing the temperature source for the fans?
Thanks in advance and best whishes,
Michael
