Insgesamt zehn Modelle der GAMING-, Classic- und OC-Serie ermöglichen Datenraten bis zu 10 GBit/s
MSI erweitert über alle Modellreihen hinweg sein Mainboard-Line-Up mit USB-3.1-Unterstützung. Neben den bereits vorgestellten Modellen der GAMING-Serie sind ab Mitte April auch Motherboards für Intel Prozessoren aus der Classic-, OC- und Krait-Serie mit USB-3.1-Anschlüssen und Datentransferraten von bis zu 10 GBit/s erhältlich.

Nachdem auf der Gaming-Messe PAX East in Boston bereits die Mainboards der GAMING-Serie mit USB 3.1-Unterstützung vorgestellt wurden, erweitert MSI den USB 3.1-Support nun auch auf die OC-, Classic- und Krait-Serie. Insgesamt umfasst das MSI-Angebot damit zehn USB-3.1-Motherboads. Neben den bereits vorgestellten Modellen X99A GAMING 9 ACK, X99A GAMING 7, Z97A GAMING 9 ACK sowie Z97A GAMING 7 erhalten nun auch die OC-Mainboards X99A XPOWER AC und X99A MPOWER sowie die Mainboards der Classic-Serie X99A SLI PLUS und X99A RAIDER eine USB 3.1-Unterstützung. Das im schwarz-weiß Design gehaltene X99A SLI Krait Edition ist ebenfalls mit USB 3.1 erhältlich. Mit dem Z97A GAMING 6 bietet MSI zudem ein Mainboard mit USB-Typ-C-Stecker an. Dieser ist beidseitig einsetzbar und sorgt dadurch für eine besonders einfache Handhabung. Alle neuen MSI-Modelle mit USB 3.1 sind mit einem ASMedia ASM1142 Controller bestückt und erreichen Datenübertragungsraten von bis zu 10 GBit/s. Dies entspricht der doppelten Leistung von USB 3.0 beziehungsweise dem 20-fachen Durchsatz eines USB 2.0-Anschlusses.

Die neuen MSI USB-3.1-Motherboards sind ab Mitte April im Fachhandel verfügbar.

Soweit ich weiß sind es nicht 10, sondern 12 Boards. Ich bin mal gespannt auf die ersten Bilder vom 990FXA Gaming sowie vom  970A SLI Krait Edition.

das ist die Meldung aus Taiwan. Es heißt nicht, dass dann auch alle \"12\" Boards in D angeboten werden.

Wow, ich glaubs ja kaum, es sollen evtl. neue AMD-basierte Bretter geben ?
Das wäre natürlich echt super, aber neue Chipsätze seitens AMD gibts wohl weiterhin nicht, oder ?

... Tot gesagte leben länger  
Als bekennender AMD Fan interessiert mich natürlich vorrangig die Weiterentwicklung bei AMD.
Dann schauen wir mal was da kommt

ich habe gestern auf der CeBIT bei MSI nachgefragt. Es sind von AMD und Intel keine neuen Chipsätze in Sicht. Das USB3.1 wird mit einem neuen Zusatzchip realisiert.
